With Fallen Kingdom (2022), we delivered our most epic and sonically elaborate album to date – a record that captured our vision of powerful, melodic heavy metal with cinematic grandeur. Tracks like the title song or Beneath the Ice pushed the limits of melody, atmosphere, and intensity. The album received top reviews from both national and international metal press, and we’re still incredibly proud of that chapter.
But something had been building beneath the surface – the raw energy from the stage, the sweat, the volume, the grit. The Guardians Call is the sound of all that breaking loose.
The Guardians Call is faster, more aggressive, and has a distinctly old-school vibe. The production is intentionally punchy and unpolished – not glossy, but crushing. Expect relentless double bass, gritty verses, and still those signature choruses and guitar hooks that define our sound: catchy, anthemic, and emotionally charged. Once again, we teamed up with Jörg Uken at Soundlodge Studios – this time not only for the recording, but also for producing, mixing and mastering. He brought exactly the sonic intensity we had in mind.
With a runtime close to an hour, The Guardians Call pays tribute to the era when full-length albums were just that: a journey, not a playlist.
